Section V - The DEKRA Audit Process
The DEKRA audit process consist of three phases:
 
Phase I Certification Audit: Off-site readiness review.  Request for documents/records and answering a questionnaire. Creation of an Audit Program itemizing all of the processes that describe the scope.. If the review will be on-site, additional processes will be audited.
 
Phase II Certification Audit: on-site process audits
 
Phase III Surveillance Adits: annual maintenance audits
Section VI - Option of a Pre-Assessment Audit
Check here if you would like, before the Phase I audit, a pre-assessment (i.e. gap) audit. Gap audit results do not count toward certification. Deficiencies are documented on fact sheets which are issued at the end of the audit.
